Zonik One, black Oldenburg Stallion, by (Zonik/ Depardieu [De Niro]) born in 2013, standing approximately 16.2 3/4 hands. The Oldenburg licensed breeding stallion Zonik One has been sold to German dressage rider Katja Willers. Zonik One is a 2013 born stallion by Zonik out of Remember (by Depardieu x Le Matin x Classiker). He is bred by American Ann Kitchel in Germany. Owned by Paul Schockemöhle in partnership with Wilhelm Holkenbrink, the black was first licensed at the 2015 Mecklenburg Stallion Licensing in Redefin and later on, at the 2015 Westfalian Late Licensing and in 2018 for the Hanoverian society. Zonik One did his 14-day suitability test in Schlieckau in 2016 but failed with just a 7.28 score. He returned for the 14-day suitability test to Neustadt Dosse in April 2017 and earned 8.04 for dressage and 6.28 for show jumping, totaling 7.40. His dressage score above 8.0 saved him from losing his licensed status. He did his sport test in Munster-Handorf in February 2017. He scored 7.67 for dressage. In February 2018 He did his second Sport Test in Munster-Handorf and scored 7.66 for dressage. The sport career of the stallion was under the care of co-owner Holkenbrink who allocated the ride on Zonik One to Johanna Klippert. She made her show debut in 2016 and competed him through 2019. Their last show was at M-level at a local event in Coesfeld. The owners decided to sell Zonik One and relocated him to Mühlen, where he sold to the German professional Katja Willers. his Danish stallion at stud in Mühlen boasts a very modern build and captivatingly powerful paces. Zonik was sired by KWPN champion stallion Zack and he has a first-rate dressage pedigree. Zack, sired by Vice Dressage World Champion Rousseau, produced three successive KWPN champions and he won the Danish Championship for Six Year Old Dressage Horses qualifier in 2010 with a score of 9.22. In Oldenburg, he has produced his first approved sons and one of his fillies received the top score of 10.0 for trot in the qualifier for the German Foal Championship. Zonik's dam won the bronze medal at her mare performance test, his granddam competed in the final of the Danish Four Year Old Riding Horse Championship with Andreas Helgstrand and has won classes up to Prix St. Georges level. His dam's sire, Romanov, is a Grand Prix winner. He won the VTV Dressage Stallion Award in 2008 and his son Honnerups Driver was the absolutely brilliant Dressage World Champion in Verden in 2009. Our own premium breeding stallion, Don Schufro, contributes quality genes in the third generation. Don Schufro won the Olympic team bronze medal in Hong Kong, produced the Oldenburg champion stallion of 2010 and Uno Donna Unique, World Champion of Six Year Old Dressage Horses. He has topped the FN dressage breeding stallion index for seven years in succession and produced numerous advanced dressage and Grand Prix horses such as Donna Asana, Bocelli and Diamond Hit. Zonik's dam line has brought forth many Grand Prix horses. Zonik is a quality stallion with a brilliant future! |
