Don Primus, dark bay Hanoverian
Stallion by (Don Primero / Landine [Sandro
Hit]), born in 2005,
standing
approximately 16.2
hands.
Description:
A dynamically moving son of the champion-producing sire Don Primero – line
of the World Championship participant Galapagos
With a striking conformation he moves in a highly effective up-hill manner with
outstanding trot mechanics and a confident ground-covering walk. As a son of the
renowned Don Primero his pedigree deserves special appraisal and is almost a
guarantee for success. Don Primero himself was national champion and won with
Karin Rehbein and Falk Rosenbauer international classes at Grand Prix level. His
breeding record includes producing an incredible number of three national
champions and being the producer of almost 40 advanced dressage horses which
were competing with great success in 2007. His breeding-index of 161 points puts
him clearly in the upper league. Within a short period of time the dam’s sire
Sandro Hit set new standards in the breeding industry regarding type,
rideability and extravagant gaits. The progeny of the Warendorf based state
owned stallion Bariton earned over one million Deutschmarks. Bariton’s sire
Blauspecht xx adds thoroughbred lines to his pedigree. The dam line is that of
Schwanau, which produced numerous top-class horses in the dressage and show
jumping arena. The most famous horse descending from this line is Galapagos, who
won with Gabriala Grillo the team gold medal at the world championships 1982 and
was able to secure individual bronze at the Europeans in 1981. As such a well
bred son of Don Primero, the young Don Primus has to be considered as a
guarantee for future performance of the first order.
