Dutch Champion Stallion 2009
An absolutely superb outcross pedigree for German breeding with a unique dam
line and Grand Prix blood from all sides This young stallion provides our
breeders with a genuinely rare set of genes from one of the most successful
bloodlines in the world. Bordeaux is a direct descendent of Angelo xx’s
daughter Adone, whose son Rembrandt is a 4 times Olympic gold medal winner with
his rider, Nicole Uphoff, and one of the most successful and brilliant dressage
horses in the world. Adone is also full sister to Olympic gold medal winner
Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke and Amon, who won team silver at the Barcelona
Olympics with Annemarie Sanders-Keijzer. Another full sister, Antine, is the
direct dam of the bloodline founder and trademark stallion Rubinstein. Sire
United achieved the highest grade ever awarded at his stallion performance test
in Ermelo (9.5 for dressage qualities and 9.5 for trot and canter). His sire
Krack C was Anky van Grunsven’s Jerez World Championship horse, and with his
dam’s sire TCN Partout she won multiple Grand Prix classes. Bordeaux optimally
displays his phenomenal genes in wonderfully elastic movements, an excellent
walk and a fantastic uphill canter. His dam’s sire Gribaldi – Trakehner
Stallion of the Year 2008 – is a successful international Grand Prix horse
with Edward Gal, and granddam Leandra won St. Georges with Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Bordeaux – that’s about as much Grand Prix potential as you’ll get!.
