Zack KWPN Stallion (Rousseau / Jazz [Belisar]) born in 2004, standing approximately 17 hands.

The first two crops of foals by Blue Hors Zack have by far met our expectations. Once again, Zack has dominated the foal shows in Denmark and abroad. He is sire of dressage filly foal of the year in Denmark, sire of the foal of the year in Southern Sweden and sire of several auction foals sold at top prices, among others the most expensive foal at the Danish Warmblod elite foal auction sold at 300,000 dkk.
Zack has won a qualifier for the Danish championships for 5 year-old dressage horses with a score of 9.18 and also proves in his daily training that he is a star in the making. His sire Rousseau won the dressage section of the performance test in Ermelo. In 2002 he won the Pavo Cup in Holland with the highest score ever at that point of time and obtained a 10 from both test riders. Aged five he won the stallion class in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and then got silver at the world championships in Verden.

CHAMPION KWPN GRADING 2007 4-year-old Licensing Champion in Herning 2008! His first foals have been very well recieved, long lined and long legged with correct hind leg movement. At the Blue Hors Foal Championship the Champion Colt and Champion Filly were both by Zack. At one of the regional foal shows the best three fillies were all by Zack. Most expensive foal at the Summer Auction in Vechta was by Zack and sold to Portugal for 42,000 euro.At the Danish Championship for 4-year-old Young Dressage Horses he was placed third and already demonstrated a talent for dressage at the highest level. Blue Hors Zack is out of the most prevailing bloodlines in Holland at the moment. His sire Rousseau, look at his Elite Stallions page, is by the international dressage stallion Ferro, competed by Coby van Baalen at the European Championship, WEG and Olympics achieving Dutch Team Silver in Sidney. Rousseau himself won the performance test in dressage and has won the Pavo Cup with a record breaking score. Both test riders gave him 10.0! At the age of 5 he won silver at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden. Rousseau sired, Wamberto (dam sire Voltaire) Champion KWPN Stallion and then sold to the US. The following year Zack was also KWPN Champion and in 2008 Rousseau went down in KWPN history having sired his third champion stallion in three consecutive year. This was Ampere (dam sire Flemming) who also won his performance test.( see Elite Stallions page) Zack is the second foal out of Orona, who has placed in medium level dressage and passed the mare performance test with a very good result. Dam sire Jazz, an international Grand Prix horse, is one of the most frequented sires in Holland and the World No 1 producer of Grand Prix horses. Jazz ( see Elite Stallions page) has first of all produced numerous highly graded mares and many competition horses. His progeny have won the Pavo Cup four times. KWPN champion stallion 2005 Johnson is by Jazz. Great grand sire Belisar won his performance test in Ermelo in 1986 with top scores. Belisar passes on his brilliant performance abilities and has sired a great number of sport horses and holds a dressage index of nearly 150. He is the sire of the approved stallion Houston. 2010 comment: Zack’s first foal crop have been extremely well received, many of the German breeders have used him on their mares and I think he will be of interest to most UK breeders wanting to use a promising young stallion. My understanding from the stud is that he will also be looked by the Hannoverian studbook, although he is not approved for KWPN as he has been too busy to do the performance test.
