Christ black-brown Hannoverian Stallion by ( Competent / Picard [ Daimyo xx]) born in 2005, standing approximately 16.3 ½ hands. 2nd Reserve Champion Stallion The second Reserve Champion in the lot of dressage stallions at the 2007 Hanoverian licensing in Verden is incredibly good-looking. He comes from the Calypso II dynasty which obviously had a clear influence: An elegant, dark brown coat over an ideally formed body – harmoniously integrated strong points that produce a perfect silhouette and maximum elasticity in each phase of his movements, also over the jump. Christ handles his tasks with intelligence, skill and ability. A stallion of many talents! The man who raised him, Heinrich Ramsbrock, recognized his exceptional qualities. " In all these years I have rarely seen a horse with the first class double talent he has. And that is exactly what makes his so special. There certainly aren't many like him around", was his assessment. After receiving a premium at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden he took his 30-day test in 2008 in Schlieckau where he was awarded very high scores in all areas. At his first show in a test for young dressage horses the end of 2009, he walked away with a clear victory because of his great rideability. Christ's first offspring were attractions at all of the famous German auction venues and immediately snatched up by buyers. His multi-talented sire, Competent, was only active for a few years in Hanoverian breeding. Along with Christ, another son named Chatman was also licensed in Verden and breeds in Bavaria. The dam's sire, Picard, the winner of the 1979 licensing in Verden, was highly esteemed by jumper breeders his entire lifetime. With Pik König, Gotthard, Frustra II and Dominus in his pedigree, he has been bred right down the line for performance and it is not surprising that he sired many top show jumpers. His great grandsire is the powerful Thoroughbred, Daimyo xx, who sired tough show jumpers that not only a reached a ripe old age but were also ambitious as well as cautious. The line goes back to the Hanoverian mare family 853/Sudette (by Südul-Nikol, etc.) which produced more than 40 licensed stallions, including Achat, Derrik, Markus and Pommery (all State Stud Celle), Lotse and Lützow (both State Stud Dillenburg), Boss, Primas and Reinicke (all State Stud Warendorf) as well as the private stallions Aktuell, Erasmus, Konsequent, Liebenberg, Prädikat, Rühmann, Sanford, Tempi Passati, Weltruf, Wilderer and Wildfang and the internationally successful show jumpers, Kim 18/Horst Gebers, Lucie 55/Lars Nieberg, Top Gun/Jan Tops (NL) and Wakefield/Lutz Gössing. Licensed for Hanover, Oldenburg, Westphalia and Rhineland as well as all Southern German and new German State Verbands. Breeder: Gerhard Wehrs, Lehrte
