Sommersby HW has an impressive pedigree, he looks like a clone to his sire, the champion stallion Sir Heinrich.

Sir Heinrich was licensed within NRW- main licensing in Münster and finished his 70-days test in 2011 in Neustadt/Dosse with a total mark of 8.5, whereas his dressage weighted mark was 8.99 and therefore the year's second best result.

After he won the Oldenburger Landeschampionat in 2012, he became vice-champion in national championships of four years old stallions. At national championships in 2013 he won convincingly his qualification class of five years-old dressage horses, in the finals he saved the silver medal with a scoring of 8.6 in his age group.

Sir Heinrich OLD represented the German colors as a five and six years-old in world championships of young dressage horses in Verden. He can show victories in elementary and medium level dressage tests for young horses as well as in advanced level dressage tests (S*). His sport horses career's highlight was cer-tainly the victory in national championships of six years-old dressage horses in 2014 with a total score of 8.7 in the finals.

On the occasion of the Oldenburg Stallion Days 2016 he was awarded VTV-Dressage Stallion of the year.

Sir Heinrich OLD is full-brother to national champions Cindy OLD, Candy OLD and Caty OLD.

His father Sir Donnerhall I was national champion of six years-old dressage horses in 2006 and finished his 70-days test as best stallion in 2005 in Adelheidsdorf (dressage index 163.87). Soon 100 of his sons are licensed, around 200 of his daughters honored state premium.

State premium mare C'est Bon is the first mare in history to be the dam of four Federal Champions: Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD and Caty OLD.

Sommersby HW's dam sire is World Young Horse Champion Quicksilber. This extremely sporty show jumper is an interesting pedigree alternative. After winning the young horse world championships for five year olds in 2005, Quicksilber swiftly moved on to the 1.50 level and - aged seven - he was placed at CSI*-level with Manuel Fernandez Saro. His quick reactions, ideal bascule and scopey jump earned him the title "Reserve Champion" at the Brandenburg approvals. Impressing with his high quality gaits, he was proclaimed the superior winner of his 30 day test and after winning many young horse classes he made it to the finals of the German young horse championships. Quicksilber's sire Quattro was himself successful on an international level and has produced not only top show jumpers up to Olympic level, but also particularly good dressage horses. The dam's sire Restorator, who is well remembered as an international show jumper, achieved much success in east-Germany. Quicksilber passes his modern light type on to his progeny: an eye-catching athletic conformation. A colt from his 2007 crop reached the finals of the German foal championships, making him one of the top ten foals in the country. In 2006 Quicksilber was the producer of the winning foal in Mecklenburg.

Sommersby HW is an extremely fancy gentleman, with lots of chrome. Beauty, elasticity, and suspension outline this stunning creature. Three rhythmic, big, expressive gaits - that will blow any and all competition out of the park. He is fabulous and fun to ride. Super nice to sit and light in the bridle, he is the horse we all wish we had, very well balanced and willing to work.
