His pedigree is super impressive, his sire Fidertanz was the absolute shining star at the 14th NRW main approval in 2004. Fidertanz offspring are known to be extremely rideable and clear minded, they have the best temperaments for everybody alike. Fidertanz left the scene with standing ovations as the undisputed Champion Stallion. Three exceptional basic paces, caution and ability at the fence, an easy going temperament and an exterior that leaves nothing to be desired left no doubt that he was the justified winner. His sire, Fidermark, won his performance test and has won the Bundeschampionat, Optimum and Grand Prix. Grandsire, Ravallo, also won his performance test with an index of 155 (dressage 157.52 - 1st place, jumping 127.5 - 5th place). Frühlingstraum II is deemed one of the pillars of Wesphalian breeding and through Romadour II, Fidermark is inbred three times to founding stallion, Ramzes x. Findertanz's dam, granddam and great granddam were State Premium mares and competed in final rings. This dam line has produced numerous licensed sons and many of their offspring are successful up to advanced level in sport.

BundesChampion Fidertanz

Franklin HW's dam is one of the most important mares in history, she is by the 100 day ReserveChampion Mephistopheles. Her Name is Medusa and she produced the famous stallion Fuerst Piccolo. FÜRST PICCOLO is a one of the most proved sires in NRW breeding. He was a premium stallion at the main NRW licensing in 1999 and won his stallion perfomance test in Warendorf in 2000. In 2008 he is placed up to advanced level. Many of his off-spring have been sold for top prices at auctions, have placed as finalists in Bundeschampionats or have won broodmare performance tests. So far, 10 sons have been licensed and 43 daughters have received State premium.100 Day Performance Test Winner! Fuerst Piccolo's sire Fidermark was the vice champion of the NRW approvals in 1994 and won the Warendorf state stallion performance test with a big margin in 1995. Further successes followed in 1996. He dominated the "Optimum of Westphalian Riding Horses" sovereignty in Munster. He also became the Bundeschampion in his home town of Warendorf. He then went on to win the LVM stallion championship in Munster Handorf. He has had many wins in the Prix St George and Intermediaire I under Marlies Van Baalen and he is trained by Johann Hinnemann. In 2003 he made his debut successfully at Grand Prix. His first foal crops produced sensational foals. They dominated the Westphalian Foal shows and the NRW elite foal auctions. In 1998 his first approved son Fein Sinn won the 100 day test, the first of several including the impressive moving Fuerst Piccolo. He has over 15 licensed sons and many state premium mares to his credit already. He is a sire who will dominate German breeding for many years to come. He is ranked highly on the FN breeding values list. The dam sire Mephistopheles, a son of the Trakehner Mackensen derives from a Romadour II mare, establishing a blood connection to the paternal side via Rheingold. Mephistopheles sired the performance test winner Jacquare. Rembrandt in the third generation was a performance test winner with Trakehner blood. Fuerst Piccolo was a premium stallion at the NRW main approval in 1999 and won the 100 day test in 2000 with high scores. He is an amazing moving stallion and his first few foal crops have dominated the Westphalian elite foal auctions.

The Trakehner Influence in Nordrhine-Westphalia One stud farm shapes a breed: The Vogelsanshof and the Hoogen family The Rhineland breed owes much of its modern shape and performance success to the vision of Maria and Gottfried Hoogen of Vogelsangshof in Kevelaer, not far from the Dutch border in the Rhineland. The documented history of horse breeding goes back 600 years! The young couple set out of breed warmbloods right in 1945, when times couldn't have been more difficult. Gottfried Hoogen found his foundation mare in front of a wagon delivering milk in the neighborhood, Mira, a chestnut Trakehner who was bred at the once great Zitzewitz-Weedern farm in East Prussia and who had survived the trek. The Mira-family produced outstanding sport horse sires like Marco Polo, Morgenglanz, or the elite stallions Michelangelo and Monteverdi TSF. But it was the chestnut Marke, who Mr. Hoogen bought in 1948, that would revolutionize not only the Trakehner breed (she is the foundation of Mahagoni, Marlon and Mackensen), but also the Rhineland breed through her son EH Mackensen, champion of his approval in 1978. Marke produced 11 colts, of which 6 ended up as approved stallion. This includes Markgraf, who was the first approved Rhineland stallion. EH Mackensen, whose offspring in the Trakehner bred won everything from CCI*** eventing to Grand Prix dressage, became a stamping sire for the Rhineland, and produced the approval reserve champion Mephistopheles. A year after his approval, he was also reserve champion of the 100 day test, and was the first Rhineland stallion to be stationed at the state stud in Warendorf. Today, Mephistopheles can be found in a majority of sport horse pedigrees, ranging from the dressage stallion Danny Wilde to the younger stars Fürst Piccolo and FS Louis le Bon, the Bundeschampion, all the way to the CHIO Sales top stallion Jaquare.

In addition, Franklin HW is the FULLBROTHER to the licensed stallion and BUNDESCHAMPION 2013, Fuerst Fohlenhof. He is the NRW Premium stallion of 2012, he's super special. He shows how a modern stallion and sport horse needs to be. Very balanced in the trot, always uphill with a lot of freedom in the shoulder and a ton of push out of the hind quarters, reaching far under himself. It's no surprise though, as the pedigree combines successful competition genes. Fidertanz is one of the most famous stallions ever, producing more than 34 licensed stallions at the age of 11. Here is a picture and more info about Fuerst Fohlenhof is on his site.
