For Valentine HW, bay Westphalian gelding by BundesChampionship Winner Fidertanz / Stedinger, born in 2010, standing approximately 169 cm or 16.2 hands.
His pedigree is super impressive, his sire Fidertanz was the absolute shining star at the 14th NRW main approval in 2004. Fidertanz offspring are known to be extremely rideable and clear minded, they have the best temperaments for everybody alike. Fidertanz left the scene with standing ovations as the undisputed Champion Stallion. Three exceptional basic paces, caution and ability at the fence, an easy going temperament and an exterior that leaves nothing to be desired left no doubt that he was the justified winner. His sire, Fidermark, won his performance test and has won the Bundeschampionat, Optimum and Grand Prix. Grandsire, Ravallo, also won his performance test with an index of 155 (dressage 157.52 - 1st place, jumping 127.5 - 5th place). Frühlingstraum II is deemed one of the pillars of Wesphalian breeding and through Romadour II, Fidermark is inbred three times to founding stallion, Ramzes x. Findertanz's dam, granddam and great granddam were State Premium mares and competed in final rings. This dam line has produced numerous licensed sons and many of their offspring are successful up to advanced level in sport.
For Valentine HW's dam is by the famous Stedinger. He is the radiant and unequivocal approval winner of the 2002 Oldenburg Stallion Days from our own breeding and rearing programme. He is blood impressed and large framed, with a formidable overall appearance and highly elastic in every respect. Stedinger is one of the best of his age class as regards his jumping performance. His sire Sandro Hit is regarded as the upholder of the Sacramento Song xx - Butes bloodline that established itself in Holstein and was disseminated in the warmblood breeds of Oldenburg and Hanover via Sandro. Sandro Hit was federal champion six-year old dressage horse in 1999 and world champion of the young horses in Arnheim. In the meantime, he has become one of the most sought after contemporary sires. The dam, Association premium mare Bold-Fantasy absolved an excellent mare performance test with a loose jumping score of 10.00, an extraneous rider score of 9.0 and an overall score of 8.67. She is a full-sister of the approved Lamar H, who is himself a successful dressage sports horse. The maternal bloodline is directly linked to all the epochal greats of Oldenburg breeding history through Landadel, Futuro and Adonis xx. The Oldenburg foundation line of the mare Besinda (by Orient-Hildebald etc.) also brought forth the approved full-brothers Andrew (successes up to Grand Prix) and Armagnac, as well as the likewise multiple advanced dressage sports winner and approval champion Waldsee. This bloodline moreover also produced Tansanid, who won the the silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games under Christine Stückelberger. The grandam gave birth to many successful showjumpers, dressage horses and cross-country eventing horses.
For Valentine HW was born on Valentine's Day, hence the name. He is a horse of unbelievable quality and super fancy mover who knows to impress due to his type, movement and work ethic, combined with an excellent self carriage! He is as pretty as a horse can get. Unbelievable beautiful in- and exterior, he has a super nice, chiselled head with a "stallion look alike" neck (he is a gelding!). He is a very sweet boy and has the talent to do it all. For Valentine HW reminds us a lot of FiveStar HW, whom was purchased and imported to the US sight unseen as a three year old and now, with Nadine Schwartsman in the saddle, got an 8.2 in the Markel Qualifier FEI 5 year-old test and was catapulted to be 3rd in the nation in his category. For Valentine HW, is a cat like, elastic mover with lots of schwung, a free shoulder as well as a very good rhythm and balance, the perfect future FEI horse. He is truly breathtaking! He got the best competition genes from his dam and sire, this one is a really special boy. He is definitely for the "big tour". He has a very active hind leg and his canter and trot are of outstanding quality. He just floats and you barley hear him hit the ground. He shows himself willing and forward without being too hot, he has an outstanding character and will go to the top with ease. All exercises come easy to him as he has the built, movement and athleticism to work in dressage and he sure will excel in piaffe and passage.
